It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Schimpf Gotta (Charlotte, North Carolina), born in Du Quoin, Illinois, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to June Schimpf's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration June Schimpf has bequeathed us. She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Schimpf and Virgil Schimpf; and her son Michael. She is survived by: her siblings, Charlie and Mary Ann; her husband Joseph Gotta; and her son Joe.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint John Newman Catholic Church (8451 Idlewild Rd, Charlotte, NC 28227).
