She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Ernest Williams and Edith Moore Williams; her grandparents, Jonah, Pearlie Williams Caulder, James and Mary Moore; her son Steven Paynter; and her siblings, Tina, Linda Kay, Elmer, Keith and Paul Williams.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Lee Givens; her son Brian Keith; her stepdaughters, Shelly, Stephanie, Tracy and Cassie; her grandchildren, Brooke Paynter, Bradley Paynter (Ketlen), Valerie and Kendalyn Paynter; her great grandchild Hudsyn Ann Baker; her siblings, JC Williams (Carole), Wayne Williams (Anne) and Debra James (Scott); her sister-in-law Cindy Williams; and her niece Joy. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces and special cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Marks Episcopal Church (9600 Mt Holly-Huntersville Rd, Charlotte, NC 28216).
