She was predeceased by: her husband Lewis; her parents, Jay Nixon and Ellen Nixon; and her brother Bob Nixon. She is survived by: her children, Robin (Mike Davis) of Charlotte and Dan (Beth) of Raleigh; her granddaughters, Jessica McCullen (Christian) of Raleigh and Haley Rea; and her great grandchild Darcy McCullen of Raleigh. She is also survived by two sisters; a brother; and numerous nieces and nephews.
