She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Turner Shaffner and Josephine Burwell Shaffner. She is survived by: her children, Peggy Church (Dan) and Eric Forsberg (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Cameron Church (Hayley), Seth Church (Tyler), Hanson Church, Chloe Church, Corinne Forsberg and Jack Forsberg; her great grandchild Christopher Church; and her sister Edna Moretti.

In lieu of flowers, we made a $100 donation in her memory to the Mecklenburg Historical Association to help continue her work.
