He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Joseph Doran Sr. and Doris Doran (Gustin); and his siblings, Richard Doran of Denver, Michael Doran of Hartsville, Sally Lecon of Las Vegas and David Doran of Lake Delton, Wisconsin..
He is survived by: his wife Mary Carlotta Doran of Concord; his daughters, Kate Doran of Concord, NC, Mary Kostrzynski (Michael) of Charlotte and Julia Doran of Tampa, Florida; his grandchildren, James Kostrzynski of Boston, Ashley and Annie Kostrzynski of Charlotte; his brother Peter Doran of Ely, Minnesota; and his pet Jack. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Joe would have loved donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Concord & Greater Cabarrus County.
