He is survived by: his mother Susan Mazzullo; his stepfather Doug Mazzullo; his father Steven Surina; and his siblings, John Surina, Michael Surina, Theresa Surina and Sophia Surina.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (3635 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28209). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at the Belmont Abbey Cemetery.
