He was predeceased by: his father Johnny Tillman Groves Sr.; and his grandparents, James D. Groves, James Jones Sr., Verna Boseman Groves and Curley Lowden Jones.
He is survived by: his mother Loretta Groves; his children, Precious Gray of Houston, Brianna Groves of Columbia and Peyton Groves; his sister Angela; his brother-in-law Keenan Cowan of Belton; his brother Omar Groves of Belton; and his nephew Keevon. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
