He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Wiarda and Lucille Wiarda (Swingle). He is survived by: his wife Patricia M. Locascio; his children, Frederick Wiarda (Heather) of Winsted and Christine A. Hurley (Jason) of South Windsor; his siblings, David Wiarda (Sharron) of Grand Rapids, MI, Richard Wiarda of Tucson, AZ, Michael Wiers (Sandy) of Rockford, MI, Brian Matz (Ina) of Byron Center, MI and Edith Christie-Wiarda (Robert Christie) of Chelsea, MI; his grandsons, Tyler and Dalton Wiarda; his great grandchild Jacob Wiarda; and also Prairie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
