It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Walter Steadman Jr. (Charlotte, North Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Mabel Prescott Steadman. He is survived by: his spouse Texie Ann Steadman (Ayers); and his daughters, Debbie Vergnetti (Paul) and Terri Burleson (Randy) of Waxhaw. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
