He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smart Lynn and Ruby Massey Lynn (Connatser); his wife Jean Lynn (Griswold); and his brother Richard Bruce Lynn. He is survived by: his children, John Lynn Jr. (Kim) and Laura Williams (Fabby); his grandchildren, Tayler, Charles and Fabby, Jr.; his son Luke Lynn (Stephanie); his granddaughter Ruby; his great grandchildren, Beth Campbell (Alan), Rob Griswold, Jack Griswold (Heather) and Jon Griswold (Jen); and also, Madeline, Emma Campbell, Mick, Zach Griswold, Jonathan and Shayla Griswold.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Trevi Senior Living (11230 Trevi Vlg Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28262).
