He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen and Lillian Cortese (Krayter); and his sister Deborah Higgins (Debbie). He is survived by: his wife Lilla Cortese (Buzad); his son Brad Cortese (Amy); and his nieces and nephews, Lauren and Keith Higgins. He is also survived by sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
