He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert Jr. and Mary Louise Mantell. He is survived by: his children, Corrie Victoria Kolbe (Ryan), John Robert IV Mantell (Gabriela) and Jeremy David Mantell (Courtney); his siblings, William Hutchins Mantell (Rose) and Karen Diane Strader (Bud); and his grandchildren, Victoria, Elisha, Nathaniel, Piper, Selah, Noah, Jazziel and Andre. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
