He is survived by: his significant other Pamela Shaw Alexander; his pet Cooper; his siblings, Mike, Darryl and Linda; his niece Jessica Evans (Jason); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Zoe, Elliot and Ariel; his nephews, Camron Workman and Darryl Workman (Ariel); his nephew Gunnar Workman; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Liam, Rylee and Mila; and also Marley.
In lieu of flowers, John's family requests donations to Best Friends Animal Society and Time Out Youth Charlotte.
