He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burdette King Jr. and Dorothy Walters King. He is survived by: his wife Marsha King; his sons, Mike King (Anita) and David King (Carole); his grandchildren, Jennifer Davila, Alex Davila, Katie McDuffie (Kevin), Matthew King (Jennifer), Emily King, Andrew King (Krystal) and Catherine Bohn (Blake); and his great grandchildren, Lileigh Campbell, Kylee McDuffie, Hailee Campbell, Jacob King, Autumn Hopkins, Christopher King, Daniel King and Harper Hopkins.
A committal service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Sharon Memorial Park (5400 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28211).
