He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard William Courage and Doris Jean Kitzmiller Courage; his wife Renee Bravin Courage; his sons, Joshua Bravin Courage (Farah Anne Fredrich) of Unionville, NC and Ross Aaron Courage (Jodi McRae) of Charlotte; and his grandchildren, Sydney Elizabeth Courage of Charlotte, Elinor Mayven Courage of Charlotte, Illiden Wesley Courage of Charlotte and Aiden Bravin Courage of Unionville.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (962 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
