He is survived by: his daughters, Jenny Earnhardt (David) and Megan Legassie (Brian); his granddaughters, Halle Earnhardt, Rachel Earnhardt, Sophie Earnhardt, Alyssa Legassie and Anna Legassie; his stepgrandson Jordan Legassie of Charlotte; his stepsiblings, Steve Lowder (Judy) of Monroe, NC, Cecil "Buddy" Lowder (Robbie) of Mt. Pleasant, NC and Becky Rogers (Darrell) of Fayetteville, GA; his niece Dana Lesley of Tennessee; and his nephew Tim Lesley of Concord, NC..
