It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joe Grindstaff of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Robbinsville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Grindstaff and Flora Grindstaff (Rogers); and his sisters, Louise Wilson, Edith Marsh and Doris Morton.

He is survived by: his wife Louise Grindstaff (Braswell); and his siblings, Hilda Wilson, Ruby Couick, Glenda Hartis and Mac Grindstaff. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Leukemia Foundation or Blind Association.
