She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Jewell and Alice Jewell; her husband Joe; and her sisters, Myrtle Jewell Oxendine and Shirley Jewell Smith.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jewell Mikula (JP) and Jamie Jacobs; her grandchildren, Jessica Johnson (Tommy), Molly Parris (Jeremy), Alex Mikula and Ryan Mikula; and her great grandchild Perry Johnson.
