It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Hammond of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on September 23, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Gilmer and Emily Gilmer. She is survived by: her children, Debbie MacAllister (Bruce) of Santa Fe, NM, Cindy Hammond of Freeport, FL and Doug Hammond (Julie) of Charlotte, NC.; her sister-in-law Betty Tyler Scott of Sarasota, FL; her nephew Allan Tyler (Tina) of Sarasota, FL; and her niece Christie Hamilton (Mike) of Jackson, GA. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
