With heavy hearts, we announce the death of JoAnn Collins of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on December 3, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Sims and Pharr Sims; her husband John Collins; and her sister Sue Smith. She is survived by: her sons, John Collins of Charlotte and Joe Collins (Lynne) of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Watson (Rob), Garrett Collins (Samantha) and Wil Collins (Hayley); her siblings, Jean Smith, Kathy Hall (Joe) and Sam Sims; and her brother-in-law Kenon Smith. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
