He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Anthony and Sarah Lillie Anthony; and his siblings, Donna McGee, Peggy Coffey, Janie Holmes, Sarah Louise Anthony, Herbert Anthony and Harry Anthony.
He is survived by: his wife Lillie Inez Jean Anthony; his children, Dwayne Carter, Marcus Jenkins (Priscilla), Anthony Jenkins (Jackie), Frances Hunter, Princeton Anthony and Nikki Anthony; his siblings, Lonzo Anthony (Kitty), Benjamin Anthony, Dorthy King (Tommy), Lula Anthony-Daniels (Woodie), Doreatha Anthony, Evelyn Hyatt, Jackie Anthony and Tracey Johnson (William); and his nephew Alfred L. Alexander (Helen). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Of Prayer For All People-Mother House (2321 Beatties Ford Rd, Charlotte, NC 28216). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
