He was predeceased by: his parents, John Richard Leach, Sr. and Lula Bell Roberts; and his siblings, Katherine Massey Conner and John Richard Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Bernadette Foxworth; his daughters, Khadijah Jere, Mimi, Nicole Hemphill of Los Angeles, Lisa Foxworth of Pembroke Pines, FL and Tawanda Foxworth (Robert) of Coconut Creek, FL.; his sisters, Annie B. Moye (Herman) of Pfafftown, NC, Mary Ellison (Calvin), Carolyn Von and Colston (Jack) of Burlington, NJ.; his granddaughters, Deja of Las Vegas, Brianna and Sanaa of Winter Springs, FL.; his nieces and nephews, Darryl, Melvin, Hezekiah, Daimon (Monte), Constance, Deena and Khalilah; his friend Mary Feely; and his brother Chuck Ferguson. He is also survived by great nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.
