With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay Wayne Parton of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on November 5, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Parton and Ruth Soskel Parton. He is survived by: his sister Linda Bass (Ira) of Fort Mill, SC; his nieces, Renee Schreibman (Philip) of Charlotte and Eliza Carney (Rich) of Charlotte; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Asher, Mayer, Stella of Charlotte, Sadie of Charlotte and Sylvie of Charlotte.
