He was predeceased by: his sisters, Caroline Beierschmitt (Dennis) of Richmond, VA and Margie Dolson of Indianapolis, IN.; and his parents, Edward Roy Day II and Dr. Virginia Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Michele Miller Day; his sons, Addison (Laura Beth) and Shaffer (Caroline); his brother Ed; and his sister-in-law Luanne Day. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
