He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Margaret Peck Rufert; his stepmother Fern Rufert; and his brother John Adams. He is survived by: his sons, Chris Rufert (Debbie) of Charlotte, NC and Kevin Rufert of York, SC; and his grandchildren, Cody McClellan, Makayla Ruffin, Kevin Rufert, Jr., Katelyn Rufert, Christopher Rufert and Connor Rufert. He is also survived by his three great grandchildren.
