She was predeceased by: her parents, William James Owens and Sarah Sinclair Owens; her children, Perry Jr. Owens, David Earl Owens and Lillie Mae Herriott; her siblings, Sarah Devane, Katie Melvin, Emma Freeman, Sammie Lee Owens, Elmer Gray Owens, David Owens and Willie Owens; and her grandchildren, Zebedee Whitfield, Theodore Owens and Andretta Herriott.
She is survived by: her children, Rose Mary Owens of Fayetteville, NC, Geneva Owens of Fayetteville, NC, Amanda Gail Gibbs (Larry), Dorothy Fay Owens of Salemburg, NC, Jerry Allen Owens of Roseboro, NC and Irving Ray Owens of Salemburg, NC; her sister Rosie Davis of Roseboro, NC; and her grandchildren, Camille Boford (Shawn), Perry Owens (Angel), Lorenzo Herriott, David Owens, Antonio Owens, Jerry Jr. Owens and Dennis Newton (Fatima). She is also survived by 35 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
