Isiah Lewis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mr. Isiah Lewis of Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly of Birmingham, Alabama on August 20, 2020 at the age of 88. He was born in Marengo County, Alabama on November 23, 1931 to Abraham and Alice Lewis. Isiah retired from Birmingham Southern Railroad after 38 years of devoted service. His hobbies included playing baseball, checkers and dominoes. He managed a Community Baseball Team in Springville, Alabama.
Isiah’s (Horn) beloved parents and 8 siblings Sadie Lewis, Amanda Threadgill, Lillie Belle Humphries, Mary Williams, Eliza Gilford, Betty Robinson, Henry James Lewis and Casey Lewis preceded him in death.
Horn leaves to cherish his memories, his children: Sandra D. Lewis, Countess Yvette Lewis, Monica B. Lewis-Hobbs (David) and Andre Hamby and one grandson Jalen Smith.
He is survived by two sisters, Lucille Nobles and Laura Lewis of Birmingham, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
