With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iris McDaniel Curry (Charlotte, North Carolina), who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Iris departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Iris may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Iris leaves behind.
She is survived by: her daughter Jan Foster (Doug Foster) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Michael Sherrill of Charleston, SC. and Curry Sherrill of Charlotte, NC.; her great grandchild Raine Sherrill of Charlotte, NC.; and her sons, Jeffery Curry and Brian Curry.
In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Southminster Hospice or Charlotte Humane Society. Honor Iris Curry's memory by donating to a cause they cared about.
