She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Hottinger (Charlie) and Lillie Edith Hottinger; her husband Albert Amos Redd; her children, Charlotte Jean Jones and Ralph Kidd Jr. (Dickie); and her siblings, Ruth Marion, Robert Lee, Charles (Charlie Boy), James (Bubba) and William Byrd Hottinger.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Henry Kidd (Lynne) of Indian Head, MD, Amber Mathis of Ocala, FL, Jackie Post (Chris) of Mechanicsville, MD and Lilly Ann Whitney (Jimmy) of La Plata, MD; her daughter-in-law Theresa Kidd of King George, VA.; her siblings, Elnora Marion of Cumberland, VA, Rosie Kerley of Troutman, NC and Richard Gene Hottinger of Amelia, VA.; and her grandchildren, Betty Jean Cooper (BJ), Charles Kidd (Chucky), Pamela Sears, John Kidd Sr. (JJ), William Kidd, Richard Kidd, Jessica Kidd, Heather Smith, Brittany Johnston, James Kidd, Alice and Julie Whitney.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Woodward Funeral Home (200 Fredericksburg Ave, Louisa, VA 23093). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Hillcrest Cemetery (175 Oak Leaf Dr, Louisa, VA 23093).
