We bid farewell to Herbert Hoover Hofmaier of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 14, 2024 at the age of 95. Herbert Hoover touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hofmaier and Sophia Hofmaier; his wife Margaret Elizabeth Stevens Hofmaier; his brothers, Fred and Willard Hofmaier; and his grandson Matthew Heim.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara (David Heim) of Oak Park, IL, Steven (Carol) of Caldwell, NJ and Lisa (Tom Ellis) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Daniel, Andrew, Rebecca, Claire, Lindsay and Emery Jane; and his great grandchildren, Miriam, Naomi, Samuel and Katerina. He is also survived by his family and previous neighbors.
