He is survived by: his son Shawn Montgomery (Lisa); and his close friend Anita McQueen of Charlotte. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews and many other family and friends.
