She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Carter and Rosetta Carter (Taylor); and her sister Helen Miller. She is survived by: her sons, Calvin G. (Cendia) and Carter of Charlotte, NC; her sister Louise Harris of Bloomfield, CT; and her grandchildren, Nichelle Perry of Charlotte, NC, Calvin (Tamika), Carter of Dallas, TX, Tiffany Parham (Rodrick) of Montgomery, AL, Desmond Carter of Charlotte, NC, Marshunda (Andre) and Anderson of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greater Meyers Chapel (600 Jordan Pl, Charlotte, NC 28205). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
