He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Ussery Hobbs; and his parents, Isaac Middleton Hobbs and Emma Bennett Hobbs. He is survived by: his daughters, Jill Blythe (Jeff) of Apex and Sylvia McCarty (Mike) of Holly Springs; his grandchildren, Emma Blythe, Sean McCarty, Maie Blythe and Kaci McCarty; and his sisters-in-law, Shelby Hobbs of Carvers Creek and Shirley Ditt (Tom) of Raleigh. He is also survived by loving relatives, as well as many amazing friends.
