He was predeceased by: his father Harold Penn Sr.; his sisters, Jocelyn and Pamela Penn; his granddaughter Dana Penn; his stepchildren, Cynthia Levell and Rochester Milam; and his sister-in-law Melanie Penn.
He is survived by: his mother Annie Mickle McRae; his children, Harold "Peanut" Penn Jr. and Tiffiney Penn; the parent of his child Tryphosia; his stepchildren, Gerald, Jeannetta and Michelle; his grandchildren, Madaja, Makyla and Marquis; his siblings, Melba Massey, Michael Penn and Byron Penn (Sonya); and his aunts, Aundrea Bush, Lillie Mickle and Dorothy Mickle. He is also survived by other relatives an dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hooper Funeral Home (1415 14th St NE, Winston-Salem, NC 27105). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at the Salisbury National Cemetery.
