He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Preston Badger and Pauline Louise Simmons Badger; and his siblings, Bill Badger, Hattie Bolick and Mildred Gragg.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Badger (Marty); his children, Brian Badger of Huntersville and Missy Rogers (Mike) of Lincolnton; his grandchildren, Shawn Badger of Charlotte, Mia Hawkins (Nolan) of Bessemer City and Dustin Badger of Lincolnton; his great grandchildren, Nathaniel Hawkins, Aubrey Hawkins and Kayden Badger; and his siblings, Mike Badger and Martha Webb.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Hope Community Church of Metrolina (3205 Sam Wilson Rd, Charlotte, NC 28214). A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Forest Lawn West Cemetery (4601 Freedom Dr, Charlotte, NC 28208).
