She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Scott Smith Adamson and Williamina Adamson; and her husband Peter Davidson Carr. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Davidson Kokinos (Peter Kokinos) of Deer Island, FL and Deborah Barry (Paul Barry) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Kristen Davidson Kokinos of Washington, DC, Gillian Kokinos (Francesca DAmico) of Apopka, FL, Jennifer Jomier (Julien Jomier) of Chapel Hill, NC, Jacqueline Barry (Michael Moore) of Auburn, AL and Stephen Barry (Sarah Kahl) of Washington, DC; and her great grandchildren, Emma Grace, Robin Jomier and Luca Jomier.
She enjoyed and was extremely proficient at knitting, and prepared numerous sweaters for family members and newborns, while donating preemie hats to local hospitals.
