With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Georgia Lemperis Karres of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 5, 2021 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Lemperis and Marigo Lemperis; her husband James Karres; her siblings, Harry Lemperis, Estelle Kyros and Penelope Kachians; her nephew Dennis Kyros; and her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Karres.
She is survived by: her great grandchild Alexander James; her grandchild Greek; her sons, Matthew Karres of Charlotte and Nicholas Karres of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Kelly Karres (Sam Royster) of Charlotte and James "Cole" Karres (Lindsey) of Lincolnton, NC; and her great grandchildren, Sterling and Alexander James "AJ".
