George Nick Nicolopoulos Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2023, at the age of 88, George Nick Nicolopoulos of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick and Sofia Nicolopoulos; his sister Toula Marangou (Evangelos); and his sister-in-law Hrisoula Nicolopoulos. He is survived by: his wife Pitsa Nicolopoulos; his daughter Sofia Nicolopoulos; and his siblings, Dimitrios Nicolopoulos, Maria Kolovou (Ioannis), Panagiota Giorganai (Ioannis), Konstantinos Nicolopoulos (Demetra) and Ioannis Nicolopoulos (Anna). He is also survived by several aunts, cousins, many nieces and nephews.
Memorials in memory of Mr. Nicolopoulos may be made to St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church, 5108 Kuykendall Rd, Charlotte, NC 28270 with a designation that it is for the Building Fund.
