He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dave and Grace. He is survived by: his significant other Terri Altier; his children, Tanya McCorvey (Keith) of Georgia, Justin Altier and Josh Altier of Charlotte, NC.; his grandchildren, Lisa Nees (Trey), Emma Altier and Liam Altier; and his siblings, John and Annie.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the McEwen Funeral Service - Pineville (10500 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the McEwen Chapel (10500 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210).
