Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Excell Taylor and Elizabeth Watt Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Chantale Taylor; his siblings, Carol Taylor Jackson (Thomas) of Charlotte, NC and Donald Taylor of Tennessee; his children, Denise Henry (Avery) of Snellville, GA and Gary Thomas of Charlotte, NC.; his grandchildren, Arin, Taylor Henry of Snellville, GA and Ayanna Mackey of Charlotte, NC; his niece Asanté Conyers (Michael); and his nephew Adonté Young of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (2020 W Sugar Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC 28262). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
