He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Hampton (Doris Hampton) and Doris Hampton; his daughters, Charlotte Hampton and Charis Duncan; and his brother Tay O. Hampton.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Hampton; his daughter Carrie Bollenbacher (David); his grandchildren, Emma Duncan, Stephen Bollenbacher, Heidi Bollenbacher and Cora Bollenbacher; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Beth Chambliss and Thea Hampton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
