Elizabeth McLendon Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2024, Elizabeth McLendon (Charlotte, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Elizabeth farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Elizabeth is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ben McLendon; and her sister Margie Currie Lyon. She is survived by: her daughter Belinda "Lindy" Midkiff; her granddaughter Jana (Zack); her son Ben G McLendon (Judy); and her grandchildren, Megan (Joe Thompson) and Matthew McLendon. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, three cousins in Florida and the nieces.
