It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth M. Winters of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband John Fielding Herrin, Sr.; her husband Robert Marshall Winters, Sr.; and her children, Constance Marie Herrin and John Fielding Herrin, Jr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Jean Viviano and Rod Morgan; her children, Tony Herrin (Kathy), Susan Davidson (Ken), Ann Honeycutt (Richard) and George Herrin; her stepchildren, Robert M. Winters, Jr. (Donna), Rebecca Sousa (Daniel), Melanie Davis (Randy) and Ellen Louise Winters (Francois Phan); and her grandchildren, Keith Herrin (Bonnie), Mimi Tucker (Gerald), John Herrin (Renee), Tammy Wilson, Rachel Davidson, Erica Shepelwich (Danny), Laura Honeycutt, Austin Davidson (Lee), Richard Honeycutt, Jr. (April), Max Herrin, Kristin Kushmider, Amanda Cooper (Tim) and Michael Kushmider (Jelena). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
