With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth LeGette King of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on July 8, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Salathiel LeGette and Faye Leonard LeGette; and her stepson Dallas "Kim" King. She is survived by: her husband Dallas Merle King of Charlotte; her children, Kathy Reid of Charlotte, Becky Plemmons of Mint Hill and Tim Reid (Cheryl) of Wesley Chapel; her grandchildren, Christina Melton (Adam), Candace Jaminski (James), Ashley Reid, Sandy Van Every (Lacey), Luke Van Every (Elizabeth) and Kim Walker (Mike); and her great grandchildren, Maddox Washer, Brayden Washer, Noah Jaminski, Madilynne Jaminski, Nathan Jaminski, Cole Coronado, Kane Coronado, Tristan Van Every, Knox Van Every, Finley Van Every, Londen Walker, Kayla Walker, Kyle Davis and Jalen Walker.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Via Health Partners, or the Humane Society of Charlotte.
