It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth C. Gallagher (Charlotte, North Carolina), who passed away on December 19, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Elizabeth "Bessie" Kirkpatrick Carpenter; and her siblings, William "Bill" P. Carpenter, Jr., Gage W. Carpenter, Jr. and Mary Carpenter Crowder. She is survived by: her husband Clarence Gallagher; her children, William "Billy" Carpenter, III (Wendy) and Kim Telligman (Bill); her great grandchildren, Rylie, John Ross, Palmer, Liam, Kasiah, Henry, Margo, Trey Ellis, Kristan Jacobs (Kevin), Paisley and Annie; her children, Bessie Whiteside (John), Gage W. Carpenter, Jr. (Tracy), John Carpenter (Liz), Dora Adams, Jim Crowder III (April) and Randolph Crowder (Jennifer); and also, Bill (Sue Kimbrell) and Mary Crowder.
Memorial contributions may be made in Lib's memory to Myers Park Presbyterian Church or to Levine & Dickson Hospice House at Southminster.
