She was predeceased by: her parents, Adrian Stellpflug and Elsie Stellpflug; and her siblings, Rose Oldenburg, Ruth Helgesson and William Stell.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Peter Nelson; and her sister Beverly Schulenberg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
