She is survived by: her children, Audrey Benton (Dennis) of Denver, NC and Greg Carpenter (Erica) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Cyndi Sherrill (Scott), Jacob Carpenter and Andrew Carpenter of Charlotte, NC; her great grandchildren, Trevor Hughes, Kasen Sherrill and Parker Sherrill of Vale, NC.; and her brother Neil Carriker (Rheta) of Hixson, TN..
