She was predeceased by: her father John Nelis; her brother John Joseph Nelis; her niece Siobhan Nelis-Hever; and her aunts, Sister Margaret Hynes, Sister Josephine Hynes and Mary Louise Ferry.
She is survived by: her mother Mary Nelis; her daughter Caitlen Nelis-Masters (Tommy); her grandsons, Sterling and Jules Masters; her siblings, Maureen Nelis, Tom Nelis (Cindy), Donna Nelis, Diane Burke, Patty Nelis (Bill) and Mariellen Nelis (Guy); her nieces and nephews, Ryan (Liza), Erin Burke (Jamie), Rosemary Nelis, Connor Johnson, Alexis Chang Nelis, Gracelyn and Charlotte Ross; her great-nephew Rory Newsome; and her cousin NJ.
