He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rondel Saunders; his children, Danielle Saunders of Charlotte, NC, Briana Crawford (Cordaryl) of Charlotte, Davida Powell of Charlotte, Donna Saunders Work, Angela Taylor (Patrice) of Aberdeen, NC, Dinah Saunders Thomas (Jeffery) of Aberdeen, Pam Wessels of Philadelphia, PA, Felicia Bailey (Jeene) of Maryland, Edward H. Saunders Jr. of Washington, DC and Bryan Saunders of Charlotte; his sister Jacqueline Nealy of Southern Pines, NC; and his sisters-in-law, Regina Saunders of Virginia and Linnie Saunders of Pinebluff, NC. He was also cherished by thirty grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
