It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna O. Welch of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Roseboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 19, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Forrest and Ethylene Cooper Owen; her husband Percy G. Welch, Jr.; her grandson Brandon Forrest Welch; and her brothers, William Owen (Billy) and Robert Owen (Bobby).
She is survived by: her brother Jack Owen; her children, Kenneth (Kenny), Walter Welch, Tom Welch (Staci) and Diane Early (Tim); her grandchildren, Patrick Welch (Alivia Seely), Tyler Welch (Haylie), Chelsea Hedrick (Patrick), Madison Palermo (John), Thomas Welch (Christine), Wade Welch, Christopher Welch (Jennifer), Ashton Pope (Maren), Tori Pope, Will Early and Regan Early; and her great grandchildren, Elias Welch (Eli), Ezra Welch, Ezekiel Welch (Zeke), Jackson Hedrick, Katie Hedrick, Palmer Palermo, Penny Palermo, Carson Welch, Nora Welch, Oliver Welch and Hallae Pope.
